We're happy to be able to give you the blow-by-blow on what's happening within the Depeche Mode camp these days.

The latest is that the much talked about December meeting is indeed taking place these days in Santa Barbara...

Exciting times indeed!!!

Just to recap everything...

- The band are meeting with producer Ben Hillier in Santa Barbara these days.
- They will be listening to demos from Martin and Dave, and decide on a general direction for the album.
- Actual crunch time in the studio will commence in January after the holiday break.

Those are the facts as of right now. In addition we can report that documents leaked from a long time Depeche collaborator indicates that tour dates are being talked about as early as September 2005. While this seems very optimistic, that is the latest.
